Mount Kilimanjaro Climb

Climb Kilimanjaro's Heights with Expert Guides

Summit the ‘Roof of Africa’

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is a hiking expedition that many dream about. Rising high at 19,341 feet, it’s the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest mountain in the world that stands alone, not part of a mountain range. It’s right in Tanzania, surrounded by the wild beauty of Kilimanjaro National Park.

This mountain isn’t just big—it’s a giant dormant volcano! Its snowy peak looks out over the savannahs below, where all kinds of animals and plants live. What’s cool is that you don’t need to be a professional climber to reach the top. People from all walks of life, from young kids over 10 years old to those in their 60s and 70s, have made it to the summit. It’s all about having the spirit to keep going and tackle the climb.

Kilimanjaro has different paths you can take up to the top, each with beautiful views and new things to see. Climbing this mountain is safer and more fun when you go with a guide who knows the way. Our guides are great—they know everything about the mountain and help lots of climbers reach the top.

Imagine standing on the summit of Kilimanjaro, looking out over the land below. It’s an experience you’ll never forget, filled with amazing views and proud moments. Book your Kilimanjaro Climbing Packages with us and allow us to help turn your dreams into reality.

Quick Answers to Your Climbing Queries

What's a typical day like in Kilimanjaro?

You’ll wake up early around 6:30 AM to a warm cup of tea or coffee right at your tent. After a quick clean-up and breakfast, you start walking to the next camp, which takes about 4 to 6 hours. Lunch will be ready when you get there. In the afternoon, there’s a short walk to help you get used to the altitude, then dinner in the evening. Every night, we check to make sure everyone is feeling okay before bedtime at around 9:00 PM.

When is the best time to climb Kilimanjaro?

The best months to climb are from late December to early March and from mid-June to late October. During these times, the weather is usually clearer and drier. Even during the rainy seasons, mornings are often clear, so there’s still a good chance for climbing.

Is climbing Kilimanjaro hard?

Climbing Kilimanjaro is a bit of a challenge but it’s something most people can do if they prepare well. With a good guide and some time to adjust to the high altitude, you have a great chance of making it to the top.

Can someone new to climbing try Kilimanjaro?

Absolutely! You don’t need any climbing experience to take on Kilimanjaro. If you train a bit before the trip and join a guided tour, you’ll be all set for a great climb.

How long does it take to climb Kilimanjaro?

Most people take about 6 to 8 days to climb Kilimanjaro, depending on which path we take. Some very fit climbers might choose a faster 5-day climb. If you want to spend a night in the crater, it could take up to 9 days.
