Our project started with the clear idea that, if we were going to do this,\u00a0it would have to create a positive impact among the local community<\/strong>. One of the founders of Gecko Adventure has been a volunteer for an orphanage at Kigamboni-Mwasonga (New Hope Family Group<\/strong>). As such, we have decided to use\u00a05% of our profits to help this school<\/strong>\u00a0and to make sure that some\u00a0kids who have no access to education and basic needs, have the opportunity to have one<\/strong>.<\/p>

We are based in\u00a0Kigamboni, Mwasonga-Kisarawe-2\u00a0(close to Dar Es Salaam Zoo)\u00a0<\/strong>about 20 km from Dar es Salaam city centre.\u00a0If you are ready to see some of the most beautiful places in the world and, at the same time, do something meaningful to the local community, don\u2019t hesitate to\u00a0contact us<\/a>!<\/strong>\u00a0One of the things you can do to help us with our community project is to bring with you some items from your home countries like pencils or soccer balls etc.\u00a0<\/p>

If you save just a few kilos of space in your suitcase and bring supplies for area schools or medical clinics in need, you\u2019ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families. We\u2019re also looking for people to stay with us and do some volunteer work in their spare time, helping the school or teaching students, etc. There is no time limit and you can stay for as long as you want or just for a day or two. We welcome any help, suggestions or ideas.
