The eastern side has mangroves, tidal flats, and quieter beaches. Small offshore islands add more places for snorkelling, fishing, boat trips, and picnics when tides, weather, and local access allow visitors to travel safely.<\/p><p>Cloves remain closely linked with daily life on Pemba. Farms also grow cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, nutmeg, and fruit.
