After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend the day exploring this diverse ecosystem, which is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, flamingos, and baboons. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, and you may be lucky enough to spot one. Your game drive will take you through diverse habitats, including woodlands, grasslands, and lakeshores. Enjoy a packed lunch in the park before continuing your exploration. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for a well-deserved rest and dinner. Overnight at a lodge near the park.

Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater

Today, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This massive volcanic caldera is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Descend into the crater floor for an exciting game drive, where you’ll encounter lions, rhinos, elephants, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo-filled lake or in a designated area. The views and wildlife here are unmatched, and the crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the “Big Five.” After your day of exploration, ascend the crater and head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Your guide will help you track the migration and explain the behaviour of the animals during this crucial time. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue with an optional afternoon game drive. The opportunity to witness the circle of life firsthand, with newborn calves and their predators, is a highlight of this safari. Return to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening around the campfire.

Your game drive will allow ample time to observe the interactions between predators and prey, as well as the intricate dynamics of the Great Migration. Take a packed lunch in the bush and soak in the spectacular views and wildlife sightings. In the evening, head back to your lodge for a well-deserved dinner and share your safari stories with fellow travellers.
